The YCDSB’s Continuing Education Department is offering a variety of student programs for this upcoming winter. Programs include tutoring in Mathematics and Language, French as a Second Language, Technology & Coding, and Drama & Dance. Programs will run in YCDSB schools between February and April 2025. Beginning the 2024-2025 school year, all students in Year 2 of Kindergarten through Grade 2 in Ontario will participate in early reading screenings (ERS). This requirement by the Ministry of Education was in response to the Right to Read report and is endorsed by the Canadian Pediatric Society.
