Wednesday, February 27, 2019 is National Pink Shirt Day to help end bullying. The original event was organized in 2007 by two male grade 12 students in Nova Scotia after a male grade 9 student was horribly bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school. The next day those two grade 12 students bought and distributed 50 pink shirts to show their support for this student. It has now become a Canada-wide day against bullying. Please send your child(ren) to school wearing a pink shirt, sweatshirt etc on Friday, March 1, 2019 to help our school take a stand against bullying. Thank you for your support!
