HOLY NAME CSC Executive Members

Please see the biographies of our Executive members below.  Thank you for your dedication and support:

Chair: As a parent of two children who attend Holy Name School, it has been my commitment to be part of their academic journey.  To understand the dynamics and facets of their education and contribute, in whichever way I can, to strengthen that experience.  I have held the roles of Secretary and Chair of the Catholic School Council. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Principal Barone and some wonderful people in order to accomplish great things for our school community.  I look forward to continuing my role as Chair of the Holy Name Catholic School Council, as we support our students and school.                                                                         ~Lucy Masellis,  Chair-Holy Name C.E.S. CSC

Vice Chair:Design Consultant for a prominent home builder and self employed as an Event Planner, specializing in children’s parties, my most important job is being a mom to three kids ages 6 and under. When my children joined the Holy Name family I knew I wanted to help enhance their education journey in any way possible. It has been a true pleasure to be a part of the Holy Name Catholic School Council for the last two years. I have held the position of Parent Rep, Executive Treasurer and now Executive Vice Chair. I am looking forward to supporting our Chair, and the entire council as we navigate an unprecedented year ahead. We wish all of our Holy Name families a safe, healthy and happy year in catholic education.                                 ~Laura DeGasperis, Vice Chair – Holy Name  CSC

Treasurer:An exciting and challenging year is before us as a Community. As Executive Treasurer, I am excited to apply my experience as Senior Executive Assistant (Holt Renfrew), Event Planner, Small Business Owner and Parent towards the Holy Name CSC. This will be my second year working with the Holy Name CSC, although my fourth year representing a Parent Council. Being part of the amazing Holy Name CSC allows me to connect with the community and my children, to elevate the school experience and aspirations of teachers and students, current and future. I look forward to meeting many of you and wish you all a healthy and successful year ahead.                                                                                                      ~Jessica Gabrysz, Executive Treasurer – Holy Name C.E.S  CSC

Secretary: Formerly a Senior Underwriter in the Insurance industry and currently a stay-at-home mother of two,  2020-2021 will mark my third year on Holy Names Catholic School Council.  I began as a Parent Representative and since then have acted as the Secretary.  My role includes documenting the minutes of each meeting and monthly preparing the agenda as well as any other documentation that is required for the meeting.  I am an active participant in our many committees, such as: Hot Lunch, Shrove Tuesday, Breakfast with Santa, Halloween Howl and Fundraising to name a few.  I joined Council as I wanted to be an active part of my children’s school life as well as contribute my time to help benefit the school.  I’m a team player and enjoy being part of a wonderful group of ladies that want the very best for our school and school community.          ~Elissa Grossi, Executive Secretary -Holy Name C.E.S.  CSC
