In celebration of Black History month Holy Name welcomes Aubrey Clarke, an influential author who was born in Georgetown, Guyana and immigrated to Canada as a young boy. His journey working with children as a Youth Leader and mentor, enabled him to develop a passion for storytelling and writing. Aubrey writes stories that embrace diverse challenges and offers ways to overcome them. On February 13, he will be performing a reading aloud from his collection to our Kindergarten to grade 8 students at 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in our gymnasium. We look forward to these stories as they empower and change lives positively with their message.
