It is with great pride that we share the beautifully crafted tree created by our students and staff in celebration of Holy Name’s 50th Anniversary. Ms. Tiz from Messy Hands/Stretching Canvas lead felting raw wool workshops for our Kindergarten to Grade 8 students. Every student and staff had a hand in working collaboratively to stretch the yarn. The Holy Name Ever Growing in Thee Tree Collaborative is symbolic for the roots represent the home, school and church rooted in Catholic values. The trunk is the foundation of academic, spiritual and emotional support needed for student growth. The branches and leaves represent the many paths and accomplishments of our past, present and future generations. The tree will be displayed in the main foyer of Holy Name on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
